This Privacy Policy explains how Rapidit collects, uses and protects the personal information of Rapidit Experts who work through our platform.

1. Information we collect

When you join as a Rapidit Expert, we may collect:

  • Name and contact details (phone number, email).
  • Address and preferred working areas.
  • Government ID details and verification documents (where required).
  • Bank or payout details for sending your earnings.
  • Profile photo and service-related information.
  • App usage data such as log-in times, device information and basic analytics.

2. Location data and app permissions

To provide nearby jobs and a better experience, the Rapidit Expert app may ask for certain permissions on your phone.

2.1 Location (“Always allow”)

With your permission, we may collect your location while you are using the app and, in some cases, in the background (“Always allow”) so that we can:

  • Show and assign jobs that are close to your current location.
  • Reduce travel time and improve matching quality.
  • Support you better in case of safety or support issues during a job.

You can change location permissions at any time in your phone settings. If you turn off location access, we may not be able to provide accurate nearby job suggestions.

2.2 Other permissions

Depending on your app version and features, we may request:

  • Notifications: to send job alerts, payout updates and important messages.
  • Storage / media: to upload documents or photos needed for KYC, training or profile updates.
  • Camera: to directly capture and upload your photo or documents from the app (if enabled).

You can control these permissions from your device settings. Some app features may not work fully if certain permissions are disabled.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • Create and manage your expert profile.
  • Match you with suitable jobs and customers.
  • Process your payouts and maintain payment records.
  • Improve safety for both experts and customers.
  • Communicate with you about jobs, updates and support.

4. Sharing of information

We may share some information with:

  • Payment partners (for example, payout gateways and banks) to send your earnings.
  • Verification or KYC partners, where required by law or policy.
  • Law enforcement or government authorities when required by applicable law.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties for marketing.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data from unauthorised access, misuse or loss. However, no system is 100% secure, and you should also keep your login details and phone safe.

6. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your expert account is active, and for a reasonable period after deactivation where required for legal, accounting or safety reasons.

  • You can request to update certain details in your profile.
  • You can request deactivation of your expert account.
  • You can manage app permissions like location and notifications in your phone settings.
